Cannon Resources Limited has two projects, the flagship Fisher East Nickel Project and Collurabbie Project which are situated in the North Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, approximately 400km to the north east of Kalgoorlie.
The Fisher East Nickel Project is located approximately 430km north of Kalgoorlie, 223km north of Leonora and 145km northeast of Leinster in the North-Eastern Goldfields region. The project consists of eleven granted exploration licences covering a total of 330.6km2. The project contains a current JORC 2012 Mineral Resource of 116.3kt of contained nickel over 4 deposits at Musket, Camelwood, Cannonball and Sabre. The deposits contain Kambalda style massive and disseminated Class 1 nickel sulphide ore and are located adjacent to each other along the same basal komatiite strata. All deposits remain open laterally, internally and down-plunge.
The Collurabbie Project, located approximately 430km to the north northeast of Kalgoorlie, 195km north of Laverton and 65km to the east of the Fisher East Nickel Project also lies within the North-Eastern Goldfields region. The project consists of three granted exploration licences covering a total of 147km2.
